If you are using product promotion, you can set "Adjust bids based on ad position (instead of "Bid+")" in the Campaign Bidding Strategy section of the Campaign Manager. For example, you can set a lower base bid of 💲0.1, with a +900% markup (i.e. 💲1.0) for the top of the search results (home page) and a
A +200% markup (i.e. 💲0.3) for the top of the search results (home page) and a +200% markup (i.e. 0.3) for the product page will make it more likely to get more traffic due to the higher bid at the top of the search results.
If you are using Branding, you can set "Custom Bidding" in the Campaign Bidding Strategy section of the Campaign Manager. For example, you can set your bidding to be reduced by 60% for ad spaces other than the top of the search results to drive more traffic to the search results page.
