Many sellers are not familiar with using the tools on the Inventory Management page to perform daily inventory management tasks. Let's introduce it today.

1.What are replenishment alerts?
Replenishment alerts help sellers manage their inventory in the Amazon Seller Central without the need for continuous monitoring of each product. Sellers can set alert quantities for individual products or groups of products.

When the available inventory of a product reaches the threshold set by the seller, Amazon will send a replenishment alert email notification to the seller. Sellers can specify the threshold based on either the quantity of products or the number of weeks of sales (based on the seller's sales in the past 30 days and the available weeks of sales in existing inventory).

2.How to set up replenishment alerts?
▪️Click on the "Inventory" tab at the top of the seller platform page, then click "Manage Amazon Inventory."
▪️On the Amazon Inventory page, select the products for which the seller wants to set up replenishment alerts.
▪️From the "Applications to Selected Items" dropdown menu, select "Set Replenishment Alerts," then click "Start."
▪️On the "Set Inventory Replenishment Alerts" page, enter the threshold value in the "Alert Threshold" field. Sellers can set a threshold for each product. Sellers can choose either "When the maintainable weeks reach (how many weeks)" or "When the sellable quantity reaches (how many products)" and enter a value in the cell.
▪️When the seller chooses to be alerted based on the specified quantity of products, they should consider factors such as average sales and the time it takes for ordered and distributed products to reach the fulfillment center. For example, if it takes two weeks for ordered and distributed products to arrive and the seller sells approximately 100 products per week, it is recommended that the seller set a reminder for at least 300 products.
▪️When the sellable inventory of the product in the fulfillment center reaches 300 units, Amazon will notify the seller. This way, the seller will have three weeks to place orders with suppliers and transport the products to the fulfillment center before their inventory runs out.
